| Introduction | The Brown Man Clothing Co. started with the need to express every aspect of the South Asian culture. As young and professional South Asians, our lives are diverse but at the same time very similar. From what we eat to our family dynamics to how we get married to even our own inner stereotypes. It was elements such as these that had to be brought to the fore front. With the first concept, 'Hijabi's Are Hot', it became known that we were on to something. From rave reviews to back lash criticism, we knew that we were on to something. We dared to say what other desi clothing lines felt was inappropriate or not deemed 'proper'. From there, our inspiration derived from our culture, our food, our families and religion. Now, the Brown Man Clothing Co. designs what we call Funky Urban Desi Streetwear for Fashion Conscious South Asians. Our styles are unique and encompass all that is desi.
