| Introduction | After college, I moved to Washington D.C. with a suitcase and one way plane ticket. I spent three years discovering life after college & the challenges of urban education. There I met my husband at a happy hour on a random Thursday in March. Fast forward. Here I am, in my 6th year of teaching back in Chicago. I believe more than ever that all children can learn regardless of circumstance. My husband and I got married this past July. Each day is an adventure as we navigate newly married life, living together for the first time, careers, and finishing our last year in grad school. Come along. |
