Introduction | I'm a wife, a mother, a Christian, an asthmatic, a scrapbooker, a viola and violin player, a choir director, a Kindermusik teacher, and a generally friendly person. Baking and cooking are a passion of mine, despite having had weight loss surgery. Mostly, I bake and cook for friends and family. I am a walking miracle, having gone from being wheelchair bound to upright and mobile, thanks to an amazing Doctor who replaced both of my knee joints. I am forever grateful to God for giving me a second chance at walking. I am totally, completely in love with my daughter, Zoë Grace (4), and her pseudo-sister and brother, Macy and Evan. (my best friend's kids) I also have 10 awesome nieces and nephews ranging in age from 10-21, and two very young great nephews. My husband, Bob, is a real sweetheart! He's my biggest supporter...the love of my life. I long for television shows like "Little House on The Prairie" to be popular, again! And I'm addicted to Facebook. Many people ask me why I call myself Scrappyknees. It is a name that combines my love of scrapbooking and my joy over having 2 titanium knees that work properly! |
