Introduction	My name is Magdalena Zdrodowska and I am an assistant professor at the Jagiellonian University, Cracow, Poland. I am rather field (and e-field) researcher than a theorist. I have finished my project concerning television as a mean of intercultural communication. Now I am working on next project devoted to the strategies and practices of new media especially the Internet usage by the D/deaf (both offline and online D/deaf communities). My English academic blog 'AUDIOVISUAL media ethnography culture' is devoted mainly (but not only) to my slowly evolving netnographic project. Polish blog 'taktyl' is my personal (rarerly updated) blog. English blog 'D/deaf and hard-of-hearing. Culture, Research, Analysis' is a cooperation with Mariusz Sak Ph.D, deaf education specialist.
