Introduction	My name is Jenn. I am a devoted wife and mother who also tries to share her time and dedication to teaching. I decided to start a blog to keep a public diary of my life as a teacher in an autistic support classroom with middle schoolers. Prior to taking this position I was a regular education teacher with experience in first grade and pre-kindergarten. This is quite a jump for me but, I am happy to be testing the waters and seeing how I do in the special education world. I have worked with students with autism almost my entire career but this is my first year teaching in a self-contained classroom. I was so inspired by other teachers sharing their ideas that I felt it would be a great outlet for me to do it too. So keep reading and follow my journey as I learn about my students and they learn from me.
