| Introduction | So why would I call this blog Blue Wind Studio? That's because of two important aspects of my art. The first is that my true inspiration comes from my adopted home on Prince Edward Island Canada. Our home is near the beach on the north shore of the island and we have almost constant wind. Blue refers not only to the blue waters of the gulf of St. Lawrence but also to the blue pigment of my cyanotype prints. I spend my work days in front of a computer working with digital files. My professional life demands perfection in everything I touch. I have discovered that I love the feel of low tech photography so I spend my free time with my pinhole, Kodak Brownie collection and whatever other antique camera I'm currently obsessing over |
