| Introduction | Hi and welcome to my blog. As you read my blog you will see that my passion is teaching reading. I am in my 11th year of teaching. I have an undergraduate degree in learning and behavior disorders. I have a Masters in administration and my Rank I as a reading specialist. I have been married to Chris for 13 years and we have three wonderful children. Two of them are at HES with me, Peyton is in the 5th grade and Rylee is in the 3rd grade. They both keep us very busy. We also have three dogs, a 14 year old shi-tzu, a two year old German Shepherd and a year old Chocolate Lab. And yes they all three are house dogs. We are summer people, we love bing outdoors, boating and swimming. With this blog I hope to give you any ideas or help I can if you have a child who struggles with reading. I have a child who is Dyslexic and I can relate to any parent who has a child who struggles to read and as a parent who wants to help them as much as possible. It's a terrible feeling to have a child that struggles in school. Thanks for reading!! |
