Introduction	English, this is Spanish; Spanish, this is English. The two languages have coexisted in my head for as long as I can remember - Spanish being my mother tongue, English being my tongue of choice. I graduated as a Translator and worked as an ESL Teacher (among other things). Since I moved to the US, these languages have mingled outrageously. Spanglish has been creeping into my life. How can I avoid it? It's so practical and ubiquitous! But instead of condemning Spanglish I decided to start this blog in an attempt to give each language its place and enjoy what each has to offer me... Inglés, este es el idioma Español; Español, este es el idioma inglés. Los dos idiomas han coexistido en mi mente por mucho tiempo. El Español es mi lengua madre y el Inglés es el lenguaje que escogí. Me gradué de Traductor y trabajé como Profesora de Inglés (entre otras cosas). Desde que vivo en los EEUU, estos idiomas se mezclaron de manera escandalosa. El Spanglish ha invadido mi vida. ¿Como evitarlo? ¡Es tan práctico y omnipresente! Pero en vez de condenar al Spanglish decidí empezar este blog para darle un lugar a cada idioma y disfrutar de lo que cada uno tiene para ofrecerme.
