Introduction	I've long been an advocate for the people in our society that can not speak for themselves. In doing so, I have offered testimony in front of the Council of the District of Columbia on the unsolved murder victims, their families and the need for a better closure rate. I've spoken on issues such as Neighborhood Policing, as well as bring respect and honor to those that serve and protect our city. Our Police officers. I have always tried to bring consideration to those that are less fortunate and perhaps in need. Now without hesitation I include in my "cause" that of Brain Injury and the need to raise the profile of this terrible condition to our thoughts our conversations and to our efforts.
