I believe He died for our sake, to restore Relationship with God by His sacrifice and Resurrection so we can inherit through Him what Adam once lost. The Sacrifice of Jesus encompasses everything we are, and everything we will be. His sacrifice was perfect, and there is no need for any other intercessor now to reach God because He has reached out to us.
