Introduction	vision is to be the unequaled provider of superior healthcare service to women and children so as to always preserve and improve the quality of human life while providing stronger family foundations. The new Nairobi Women and Children’s Hospital Foundation, will serve all residents of Nairobi and the associated outreach area, regardless of their ability to pay for services. In 2006, the City Council of Nairobi donated five acres of land known as the Lady Northey Estate to the Lady Northey Health Trust in partnership with the Nairobi Women and Children’s Hospital Foundation with the express purpose of developing the new Nairobi Women and Children’s Hospital on this site. The Lady Northey Home will be preserved as a national heritage site and will be incorporated into the design of the overall hospital and wellness village.
