Introduction Marine and lifelong golfer who became Vegan at a late chapter in life but hopes to reverse or eliminate all the bad stuff that sends us too soon to those heavenly fairways.
Interests Vegan, consuming plant-based, whole foods, love cats, golf and older model V8 cars, chatting with other vegans.
Favorite Movies Caddyshack, Fandango, Soldier in the Rain, Gran Torino, It's a Mad Mad, Mad Mad World, Bullit, Titanic, Kill Bill Vol 1, Stripes, Kingpin, The Great Race, The Odd Couple, Cool Hand Luke, The Cincinnati Kid, The Hustler, On The Waterfront, Full Metal Jacket, The Magnificent Seven, The Great Escape, The Getaway, Dances With Wolves, Day of the Condor, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, As Good As It Gets, Cinderella Liberty, Dr. Strangelove, Bonnie & Clyde, Shane, Forest Gump, Aurthur, The Wild Bunch, Blade Runner, The Man Who Would Be King, Jaws, The Deer Hunter, Moonstruck, Die Hard, The Shawshank Redemption, Chinatown, Rain Man, Platoon, Raising Arizona, The Quiet Man, A Hard Day's Night, and too many more to list here!
Favorite Music classic rock, blues and some classical. Today's music (most of it) escapes me. Some hip hop is kind of catchy, latin is always a good mood enhancer, light rock has it's moments, head banging music, except for Whitesnake, Van Halen and one or two others, always has me running for earplugs. Blues of just about any kind really reach deep within me, Clapton, BB King, John Lee Hooker, Stevie Ray Vaughan, any kind of 60's & 70's stuff of course, The Doors, Led Zepelin, Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, Pink Floyd, ELO, Moody Blues, ELP, Credence, ZZ Top, Beach Boys, Dick Dale, The Ventures, Los Straightjackets, Dire Straits, The Who, Harry Niilson, Cream, Billy Joel, Queen, Dusty Springfield, Squirrel Nut Zippers, King Crimson, Carly Simon
Favorite Books Sho-Gun, Spangle, Aztec, Streets of Laredo, anything by Michael Connelly, John Grisham, Lee Child, Harlen Coben or John Jakes. I prefer historically accurate novels rather than mystery or science fiction although one of my favorite books to read was Stranger In a Strange Land by Robert Heinlein, biograhpys are great reads too because they are true, but I have to be careful about reading them because a few times I have read about people that I thought I liked based on public persona only to read their true story and end up not liking them so much anymore.

Nothing profound shall pass these lips but a good question to ask a baby boomer like me is: If you had it all to do over again, would you do it as a VEGAN?
