Introduction	I am a husband and a father who stewards a few acres in Kentucky. My intent is to record my observations of the natural world on my smallholding and the surrounding countryside. It is my belief that we need more individuals today who have a holistic sense of a place; who observe and understand the connections, relationships, interdependencies, and causes and effects of change within a familiar locale , rather than an abstract scientific knowledge that is gnostically detached from the Created order in which we live.
