| Introduction | Originally from Chicago, I have lived in Sarasota, Florida for over 25 years. I am a graduate of the American Academy of Art in Chicago and continue to explore the different techniques of oil painting by attending Ringling College of Art and Design in Sarasota and at The Ringling College at Wildacres, N.C. Previous instructors that I have studied under are Bill Parks, Ron Wick, Jean Blackburn and Cassandra James. Currently I am the Marketing Manager and Creative Director for John Cannon Homes, Inc. I enjoy painting still life's from my home studio or en plein air. Oil on panel is my preferred medium and wood panels are my preferred surface. |
