| Introduction | Born and raised in Lexington, KY, I am the 4th of 5 children. Even though my siblings live in Lexington, Chicago, Philadelphia, and Durham, my summers and vacations are spent traveling to their homes, gathering in Kentucky to share holidays, and vacationing together at Myrtle Beach. I moved to Virginia in July 2005 to join my college sweetheart, Aaron, who is stationed at Ft. Eustis. I currently teach 3rd grade at Sanford Elementary in Newport News, and am a graduate student pursuing my Reading Specialist endorsement. |
