| Introduction | Originally from Cincinnati, Ohio I have been a damn Yankee here in Asheville for the past 33 years. If I have dug one hole these past years, I surely have dug at least 1,000. I am in my 3rd house, thus my third garden. My favorite garden quote (which I unfortunately can’t quite remember word for word!) is: “There are just so few springs and so many flowers.” I think I have been trying to get to know as many flowers, shrubs, trees and everything and anything in between over these past years. I am hoping my children and grandchildren will have the same passion for all that grows to carry on where I leave off. |
