| Introduction | Born and raised in a small Southern Utah town during the "good old days" summers spent playing out doors all day, water fights, underground huts, night games and sleep outs. When I go back to visit I still see glimpes of the small town I grew up in, they get harder to find each year. One of my favorite place to photograph is the lake we fiched at small children, somehow it hasn't changed at all, now my grand children fish from it's unchanged shores. I have been interested in photography for as long as I can remember, I spent hours as a child looking through old boot boxes filled with black and white photos, each one comming to life to tell it's own story. I recived my first camera as a gift from my older sister more than 30 years ago and havn't stoped taking pictures. I'm glad to be out of the bitter cold winters of Utah, I don't miss shoveling my car out of snowbanks, but I do miss playing in the snow on bright sunny days, spring flowers, cool summer nights and the fall colors of the oak and aspen trees. While taking picture of my grandkids and having time of my own after years of being a mom, I realized I wanted a boot box or a blog full of pictures and their stories |
