| Introduction | I'm a full time journalist who regularly writes about news events in whatever town I happen to find myself. I love the South, and have made my home here for decades. Over about the last three years, I've become increasingly aware of symbolism used by all levels of government, corporations and advertisers that on the surface may appear to be one thing, but underneath have a hidden meaning. I only beleive this is important because I feel these symbols reveal the true nature of the people who use them. And yes, I do beleive they are a 'hidden' language. It's my joy and privelege to write about these symbols whenever I encounter them. If I can get readers to discuss these observations and ideas, then I've done my work. |
