Introduction	Children’s author Michael Morpurgo and his wife Clare founded Farms for City Children in 1976. Farms for City Children offers urban children from all over the country a unique opportunity to live and work together for a week at a time on a real farm in the heart of the countryside Lower Treginnis is the most westerly farm in Wales, on stunning headland close to St Davids. Treginnis is an organic farm, run by Rob Davies, with some 900 sheep and a small herd of Dexter cattle. The children also help look after a large variety of poultry, horses, milking goats and a breeding herd of pigs.
