| Introduction | I am a chiropractic student in my first year at Palmer College of Chiropractic West. (Expected graduation date - December 2013) I want this blog to educate the readers about how to achieve an optimal lifestyle from a biopsychosocial perspective of health. My approach in doing so will be evidence-based and thorough. I sincerely believe that each person living in this nation has the ability to live a life with minimal pain. The reason this seems to not be the case, in my opinion, is due to a lack of education along with little encouragement from the health care professionals to acknowledge the patient's responsibility in becoming well. I want to embrace the new era of a health care system that strives to educate patients so that individuals and families can function at an optimal level. |
