Introduction	My name is Antonio Pacheco and I am interested in the intersection between the environment, people, and social change analyzed through the lens of art, education, and writing. I became interested in the environment sometime during elementary school, people sometime in high school, and art as a venue for social change sometime in college. My goals with this blog are multiple. I’d like to chronicle my personal journey in “sustainability” towards a better and more equitable way of life. I’d also like to educate and persuade others to analyze my views and way of life while providing a forum for networking between different aspects of the Upcycle Network. I began the Upcycle Network as a way of bringing together the various “sustainable” activities I found myself obsessively interested in. Instead of being a specific group of people, it is a collection of people and activities dedicated towards making the world a better place.
