| Introduction | Following a visit to Crystal Peaks Youth Ranch in Bend, Oregon, in May of 2005. http://www.crystalpeaksyouthranch.org I have dreamt of starting a similar youth program which connects disadvantaged kids with rescued horses. Crystal Peaks was truly one of the most inspiring places of hope, love and caring that I've ever been. Not a day went by after visiting Crystal Peaks that I didn't envision opening a similar operation. Although we have rescued horses for a number of years, and kids have always been welcome to visit, this year (2008) we have finally achieved non-profit status, existing for the benefit of bringing kids and horses together in a restful, loving environment promoting healing, hope, peace and just plain fun!
