| Introduction | I'm a 40-something, native Bay-Stater (that's Massachusetts, btw) transplanted to the Golden State (California), who, in an effort to keep my mind sharp and my boredom to a minimum, has decided to write a blog. I'm married and it's my husband's job that has been moving us around the country (from MA to FL to CA). No kids. No pets. No job. No worries. Well, not every day, on that last part! I love shoes (even though some of the cutest pairs I own actually hurt . . . a lot), and chocolate, and Scrabble, and books. I watch way too much TV, but don't hang my head in shame to admit that I'm addicted to it (I just might not fess up to ALL the shows I watch though). I think the DVR and the iPod are among the coolest inventions -- I can't live without shows and tunes! I'm sarcastic, I think mean thoughts, can be overheard saying "I hate people" but I love to laugh and to make people laugh. I tend to over-use parenthesis and I tend to ramble . . . . |

| Favorite books | I'm a book lover, in general. I have fond memories of trips to the library as a child and can remember being excited about moving on to chapter books. My addiction began then, I guess. I have so many books by my bed that I can't justify buying an eReader! So, as far as faves go, there are just far too many to list. |
