Introduction	Hi, I am the Bookings and publicity officer for Newcastle/Hunter Valley folk club AND one half of the Folk Duo "Garland-Fine" I love sessions barbeques, dances and parties- Anywhere people can meet and make music, and feel they have the absolute right to be on equal footing with everyone else.It's a great leveller!
Interests	Why Folk Music? It's amazing what happens when you cut out the middleman. When no-one else is there to guard the profits people can talk to each other and sing songs about what they think and feel. Not just about "lurve"
Favorite music	We know there is quite and upsurge of people interested in 'folk' these days. Our local folk club has been going since 1967 in various guises. It has given a platform to the folk of Newcastle through thick and thin. That's what I will always work for, and you've got to tell me what ticks. If it fails to tick it's Dead - and we don't want that do we?
