| Introduction | I have taught Film, Television and Media Studies at the University of Auckland since 2002. I am currently completing my Doctorate thesis on the rise of extremely violent horror films after 9/11 in the United States and the way that these films functioned to circulate discourses on the use and limitations of state violence. I also teach on advertising and have a particular interest in mass psychology. Follow me on Twitter: PhoebeFletcher |
