Introduction I was probably 5 I joined in on a neighborhood play. I remember wearing my fathers high top work boots dressed like a Hobo. I remember walking the the play, when I saw all these kids around the stage. I was SCARED TO DEATH! I ran all the way home-never saying a word to anybody about my fear. It haunted me, I knew I had to get over that fear. So after my second son, I wanted to do something for myself. I decided to volunteer to help out on a play, you know, paint a set. That was over 20 years ago, the director talked me into auditioning! I ended up being in the play "A Christmas Carol" w/ The Pull Tight Players. Later, I became involved in the group, W. H. Players, from there I helped develop a company called, The Skeleton Crew, we did dinner shows for Nash Girls Tea Room located in W. H. I opened Mel O'Drama Dinner Theater in the heart of downtown Springfield. But the over head was more than I could handle. I have this driving love that "the show must go on". I am putting together all the knowledge I have of promotions, former advertising employee, and finding the people who really and truly love to act, and take the shows to theaters that don't have live performances.
Interests I love to provide entertainment to the public. And to provide a way for entertainers to bring their craft to the public. Guess I am interested in being the one that brings it all together!
Favorite Movies Movies, well actually I would like to bring independently made movies to The Palace Theatre in Gallatin. This will happen in a few years. But just think about it-having a movie on "the big screen" that you actually know somebody in there!
Favorite Music My favorite music is anything that has Tom Roady in it! That is the reason that "All My Roady Friends" has been developed. Concerts, family friendly, with some of the most experienced Nashville musicians around.
Favorite Books Originality is Everything, A Life and Near-Death Tale of an Independent Record Label by John McGlasson, Productive Selling Zone by John Boyens Love Life It'll Love You Back, Karin Papparelli

You can whistle and steam can whistle, so why do you sing in the shower?

Well another thing I am doing is murder mystery dinner shows. Taking one show to a variety of locations.
