| Introduction | Batya and her husband Angus were early pioneers in the Messianic movement. In the late Seventies they published the House of David Messianic Materials Catalogue. She read countless books so she could write the necessary descriptions, only to discover a great diversity of opinion in the matter of “Israel.” She then asked the Father to show her His truth and He began to open up the Scriptures to her (Jer 33:3). Her books represent decades of study about Israel, celebrating the feasts, and honoring Torah. Many have been transformed by her writings, their lives changed by seeing Judah and Ephraim in Scripture. This truth is helping to restore a brotherhood broken apart long ago. Batya's emphasis on the need to show mercy and grace to both houses is helping to heal the wounds that began when Israel was divided into two Kingdoms. Batya is married to her best friend, Col. Angus Wootten (Ret.), who also writes about Israel. Together they have ten children who have blessed them with many beloved offspring.
