| Introduction | Being a helpmeet to my husband is my first calling, given to me by the Creator of the family. I count it an honor to have served with him in the ministry these past 32 years. Though I didn't grow up in a "ministry" home, I grew up in a godly home where I accepted Christ as my Savior as a child. I watched my parents model love for Christ before me and I learned to love being in God's house and serving there. I love working in the ladies' ministry at BCBC and desire to help women understand, through the teaching of God's Word, their biblical role and find joy in obeying it. |
| Interests | I have a huge interest in my husband...he's the best! I love my morning cup of coffee, in one of my special mugs with French vanilla cream and sweetener. My morning time in the Bible with coffee in hand is my favorite time of the day. How wonderful to open God's Word and hear Him speak to me. Though I enjoy going away for short periods of time, I am a home-body. I love being in my kitchen stirring up new recipes, curling up on my quilted couch in the living room with a good book, or spending time outside in my yard. I have a love for chocolate and usually have a piece tucked away that I eat on for a few days...a taste is all I need. The ocean is my favorite vacation spot because we live in the mountains - it just doesn't get any better than that! I love being a child of God and sharing Him with those that don't know Him; I'm praying the Lord will burden my heart more for the lost. In decorating my home I love the cottage look. I am a bargain hunter and will not pay a high dollar for the accessories for my home. I love yard sales, consignment shops and TJ Maxx for finding good deals! One day I'm leaving this earthly home and will spend eternity with my Lord...no shabby chic there! =) |
