Introduction I’m a 40something year-old woman who doesn’t want to have to update her bio every year. I’m married (less than 10 years) and no expert on marriage. I’ve got two children on earth and two more in Heaven. I’m no parenting expert either, but I come closer. Actually, I’m not an expert at anything, and in this day of expertizing and self-branding, I’m not ashamed to admit I’m a moderate generalist. That’s not to say I’m average. If I were average… All cereal would be high fiber; It would be about as hard to make a living in marketing, sports and entertainment as it is to make a living as a telemarketer now, oh, and there would be no such thing as telemarketing; no shoes could fetch more than $20; TV would still have 3 channels but just one newscast a week; there would be more book stores; we would have enough doctors and too many pharmacies; every town would only need two lawyers, just enough to have some opposition; 6 weeks of vacation would be standard; the world would be a much quieter place; office buildings would be warmer in the summer and cooler in the winter; there would be no stray animals; family farms could supply the nation with beef; and churches would be full on Sunday.
Interests living a godly life, my kids, my family, gardening, cooking, getting fit, coffee, chocolate, travel, garage sales and cleaning out closets, publishing, Spanish, Latin American culture, Brazil, Portuguese (soon enough), natural remedies, saving money, being a good steward of the environment, avoiding political conversations, time alone
Favorite Movies Didn't you see my note about it being hard to be an entertainer in a world where I'm average?
Favorite Music Ditto
Favorite Books OK, so I love to read, but now we revert back to the moderation thing, which applied here, means I really don't have any favorites, other than The Bible.

Why don't you ever wear a scarf? It doesn't need to be cold outside for your neck to feel naked.

Agreed. And I do own a bunch of scarves - I have ones from Germany, Ireland, Ecuador and more... And my neck is quite often cold too. There is no good reason why I don't have a scraf on at this very moment. Excuse me while I go remedy that.
