| Introduction | MaryAnne Bobrow, CAE, CMP, CMM, CHE is the founder of Bobrow & Associates, an association and meetings management company. Bobrow has over 17 years’ experience serving as Executive Director for several 501(c)(3) and 501(c)(6) organizations, through her own company and, prior to that, as dedicated staff. She is a Certified Association Executive, a Certified Meeting Professional, holds a Certification in Meeting Management, and is a Certified Hospitality Educator. Her expertise covers areas of strategic management and leadership, communications, exhibition, membership, meetings and event management. She is an active member of ASAE, CalSAE, MPI, IAEE, and PCMA, serving in leadership roles in several of these associations and teaches at the University of Las Vegas in Tourism and Convention Management, Distance Education. Bobrow also lectures on various association management and strategic business topics to various associations, their volunteer leaders, meetings industry national, regional and local conferences, and other groups. She authored chapters for PCMA’s Professional Meeting Management 5th Edition and for IAEE’s Art of the Shows 3rd Edition. |
