| Introduction | I have spent most of my life working with dogs and competing with my own dogs. I started training my first Border Collie, Candice, in obedience when I was 9 years old. My next Border Collie, Hamish, was a very special boy and highly intelligent. He was made up into a C Test Obedience Champion by the age of 2, and then went on to become a 5 times Champion before he was 4 years old. My avid interest in dog activities led me to agility. Freya is the first dog that I started competing with and she has won many awards despite having a height disadvantage, as she is such a small Border Collie. She has competed at the Agility World Championships four times. My top competing dog is Ostara and she has won many awards and has competed at the Agility World Championships three times. She was a champion by the age of 2 and is a Grand Champion in South Africa in Agility and Jumping. I have always lived in South Africa, but moved to the UK recently. |
