| Introduction | I am Tan Mei Shan but I have a stage name and that is, "Emily Blackfox Sung". I am a student at Curtin University and have a deep interest in learning about Asian cultures. I may be doing a Bachelor in Internet studies and history but on my free time read a lot on Korean culture, Japanese relations and Chinese mindsets. I want to understand myself better as a person because I come from Malaysia and I never really socialize well with my own people. I have been trying to figure out why the Malaysian chinese in Malaysia seem to be a bit hostile or ignorant to Chinese who are a little bit different or individualistic. I mean I haven't been mixing with Chinese people during my childhood just other races. I have also grown to love on culture and society. I hope my blog will continuously reveal its purpose. |
