| Introduction | I am a single mom; I have two sons, 22 and 19, a wonderful daughter-in-law, and an awesome grandson. My family is my number one priority. I am a three year survivor of breast cancer. I have three college degrees; an AA in Journalism, a BS in Psychology, and an MS in Community Counseling. I was a mental health therapist for over twenty years. I worked in so many different areas it is hard to remember them all! I did inpatient, outpatient, non-profit, for profit, groups, adolescent, day treatment, substance abuse, sexual abuse, domestic violence, marriage and family, school, college, survivors of abuse, eating disorders, and other types of counseling. I had my own practice for five years. Currently I am in the Masters program at Arizona State University working on a Masters degree in Nonprofit Management and Leadership. My goal is self-employment, continuing my education until I am tired of school, and the pursuit of a project I have been working on in my mind for twenty years. |
