| Introduction | I'm realistic in my idealism, as a recent graduate of Capital University in Columbus, Ohio I have faith in our ability to change the world even in the slightest way. To live out this belief I'm spending a year working with the Howard Area Community Center in Chicago, Illinois through the Lutheran Volunteer Corps. My family is extremely important to me. My grandmother is one of my best friends and my two younger sisters are my hope for the future. This past February my Godmother died suddenly, while I miss her every day, I'm trying to live my life in a way that honors her legacy. I believe in the power of community and the goodness of people. |
