Taking advantage of her experience and skill as a designer, pattern maker, seamstress and model, she can create custom designed clothes that feel as if there were realized from a dream. It is the culmination of her experiences with life, work and different cultures that allows Yuka to express her original creations as "cross border". Her designs have been described as "fashion beyond boundary and categories". Yuka also established her own brand, “Shiki”, which is based on her sense of Japanese beauty and cross-border creations. Yuka's work has been featured in fashion media outlets such as Vogue Italy online and on television by NHK (Japan Broadcasting Corporation), which introduced her original designs and creative identity to a wider audience. |
