| Introduction | For 50yrs my life has been HELL (i will go in to that latter) to add insult to injury, as they say, over 20yrs ago i was in a near fatal car accident & became completely disabled and after 4 yrs. they found i had Fibromyalgia/Depression so much more. & after fighting like hell to beat the monster inside me in 2013 after tripping over my crazy dog tore a meniscus in my R knee no big deal however the day before Thanksgiving my husb. had 1 job and that was to leave the doors unlocked for the dog walker and he didn't so i was feeling no pain from the pain meds. and all so i thought "i can do this so i put my good foot down the stairs and than the bad one and poof they both gave out and i went flying down my stairs (12 steep)and landed in a fetus position (now mind u 1wk. ago i had surgery, anyways i slammed in to my full size washer w the dryer on top and thats all she wrote i have been totally disabled since.............. |
| Interests | I love to read: Science Fiction and any books I can escape. Magazines I love to read anything that has topics of improving life and how. I love the out doors I used to love hiking I remember walking up Watkins Glen (big deal around here) love traveling especially NY city and Canada have been there more than I can remember. (since the enhanced drivers licence I haven't gotten one) I used to be singer and theater in High School had a lead role and in college also. I used to love to bowl, go roller skating, do aerobics, go out dancing and Loved tennis & basketball. Most of all i LOVED to ride my bike all over the place. I used to belong to Toastmasters and loved giving speeches I even won a few contests. As you see I keep saying used to. That is because I I became disabled twice once in 20yrs. ago and now November 2014. I used to love walking my awesome dog Roxy..now i have to pay for a dog walker, So now my interests is watching TV, HULU, Netflix, You Tube etc. and I can;'t even read like I used to because my concussion (last year) so now I can't even participate in Toastmasters because my short term is fried. |
| Favorite Movies | Vampires and modern day Werewolves, Science Fiction, Romance (w limited sex i like the old kind that gives the ambience and implied sex, Comedy, Awesome Action and Violence ( but nothing to bloody), love old fashion Musicals and a few movies that had Fred Astaire & Ginger Rogers, or Bing Crosby. |
| Favorite Music | Meditative music lately and a lot of the healing kind w different binaural tones and such. Jazz, Classical, some R&B, pretty much anything except twangy country and Acid Rock. Since the show the Voice" I even love country but it has to be country rock like Blake Shelton. I have been on this earth for 50 yrs. but because of my parents more like 80 they listened so I lived w them so I listened music from the 20s, 30s, and on and on. |
| Favorite Books | "The TAO OF POOH" by Benjamin Hoff not for the content but because one of my closest friend gave it to me before she left and moved away. Anything by Erma Bombeck, Suspense and Alternate Realities, Stephen King (not the horrible ones the adventures suspense kind) Love Robert Frost, Mark Twain old classics. |
