Introduction	Although the world around us may sometimes get "messy," children most often have the tendency to make me smile. Their minds full of thoughts, their little bodies full of capabilities, and their hearts warmer than the good sun itself. I recently graduated in 2013 with my A.S. in Science, ECE at UH Maui. I am also in my second year working as a Teaching Assistant at Kamehameha Schools Community-Based Early Childhood Education Program (Upcountry, Maui). I am working towards my Bachelors while I eagerly await the day I can have my own classroom; where the environment and practices reflect me.
