Introduction	An expat American living near Pendle Hill in Northern England, I am the author of DAUGHTERS OF THE WITCHING HILL, a novel that explores the true and unforgettable story of the Pendle Witches of 1612. In October 2012 my new novel ILLUMINATIONS will reveal the dramatic life of visionary abbess, composer, polymath and powerfrau, Hildegard von Bingen. I have also written the novels SUMMIT AVENUE, THE REAL MINERVA, THE VANISHING POINT, and co-edited the wicked fiction anthology BITCH LIT about women who break all the rules. When I'm not writing, you can find me riding my beautiful Welsh mare.
