| Introduction | The MaldivianStudents forum went online on 2nd September 2006 with the aim of bringing all the Maldivian Students studying abroad in all corners of the earth to one place, where they can interact and share experiences, knowledge and ideas. The site was also meant to provide information about the various colleges where students from the Maldives are studying. The idea was that such guidance would be of immense value to students at home planning to go to those colleges for their own higher studies. Sadly the forum did not meet with full success with only about half a dozen regular posters; a very small number from among more than 1500 Maldivian students studying abroad at any given time. Nevertheless we did see some very interesting posts and discussions and also a couple of Guides to colleges abroad. The site is being transferred here now and I will be putting up some of the more interesting posts from the forum apart from the Guides. If anyone would like to submit a new Guide please feel free to email it to admin<--AT-->maldivianstudents.com. I would like to take thank all the active members of the forum for their contributions. |
