Introduction	I’m Danny and your friend. This blog carries not only my own but most importantly, the voice of and stories of those who cannot speak for themselves in the blogosphere. They’re the children; sons and daughters of poor workers, fishermen and farmers in the obscure, poverty-stricken and conflict-affected villages in Mindanao, Philippines. They’re the kids who go to school without the luxury of books or school supplies, not even shoes to wear or maybe breakfast. Their interest to finish schooling, help their parents and village is what encouraged them to overcome hardships and difficulties and persevere to help make a change in their simple world. I was once like them. A son of an ordinary plantation worker in conflict-affected province of Basilan in Mindanao, Southwestern Philippines. I have plenty of childhood memories that can’t easily be forgotten as time goes by.
