| Introduction | I like to stay busy reading, writing, and being outdoors. I'm a mom to a very sweet and active little boy named Ari. He is silly like his dad, Matt. They both bring joy and laughter to my day. In February 2009, I was diagnosed with breast cancer while breastfeeding my son. I had a bilateral mastectomy in March. Unfortunately, my very rare type of cancer has recently metastasized to my liver. I have started an aggressive weekly chemo program and am feeling positive. | Interests | I love to spend time with my family at home and outdoors. I especially love hiking in the beautiful Red River Gorge, gardening, and crafting. I am also enjoying learning how to sew. |
