Introduction	I'm a girl from a small Michigan town I knew all along wasn't big enough to hold me. I am grateful for the values my simple upbringing instilled in me - hard work, persistence (I never take 'no' for an answer), and the importance of having integrity and being polite. Much of who I am today can be attributed to finding the love of my life at a very young age. I still pinch myself. Shaun has stuck by me through all the disparate versions of who I thought I was and who I am today. Without him I don't think I would have stayed this grounded. Shaun helped ground me...my kids keeps me bolted down. Although I was never "one of those girls" who always wanted to be a mom, being a parent is such an innate part of my being I can't remember my life before.
