Introduction	I started writing the kind of stories I write out of a desire to live in a world with more love. I knew my work wouldn't fit the bodice-ripping romance mold because I have an erotic imagination. In romance novels, the heroines are often prudes with exaggerated opinions of themselves. They make a reader wade through hundreds of pages before finally allowing the hero a hug or a kiss. I need more action. Erotica turns me off when there's no emotion or any motivation for the characters to be together. So I write erotic romance. It's the best of both worlds. And it's fun. There are definitely worse jobs.
