| Introduction | Hello my name is Thalia, I was born and raised in Southern California. I would consider myself to lean a little more to the left. I have liberal beliefs but don't know if i consider myself a full liberal. The only political experiences I've had was voting in a local election for the city. Aside from that I haven't had any political experiences, which is something that can change. I am taking this class because I am a new resident to Texas, and I would like to know how Texas and its local government work. I hope to gain a lot from this class, I hope to be more literate when it comes to politics and government. I did terrible on the Texas General Knowledge quiz, I was only able to answer maybe one question; due to the fact I just moved here 2 weeks ago. The same goes for the Texas Political Knowledge Quiz, I hope to be able to know the answers to all of these questions by the end of the course. I look forward to learning more about the state of Texas. |
