| Introduction | My background is medicine-laboratory specialist in neurosurgical research, but I love to write. Growltiger was a beloved family pet who died in 2005 but who lives on in our hearts. While Growltiger used her litter box for a specific purpose, my litter box is for the deposit of thoughts, observations, interests and opinions that are part of my life--everything that interests me from politics to tennis to books to films to the painful loss of my beloved pets. Some of it will be interesting to others, I hope; some will be boring, I'm afraid. If I'm lucky a few articles will enlighten and inform. |
| Interests | Fiction, politics, science, medicine, Irish wolfhounds, German shepherds, chow chows, cats, tennis, and recently Silent Movies because they don't propagandize but rather entertain. |
| Favorite movies | The Lion in Winter, Impromptu, Love Actually, The Closet, Elizabethtown, The Advocate and a bunch of Silents including Cobra, Sea Hawk, The Eyes of Youth, Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse (Valentino), The Cheat (Hayakawa). |
| Favorite music | Classical music, instrumentals and Classical Rock and Roll |
| Favorite books | War and Peace, Witness, Pride and Prejudice, Atlas Shrugged, The Fountainhead and Sea Hawk (a hundred year old novel that is difficult to read because of the time in which it was written but a great adventure with interesting characters). |
Well, maybe they don't need them, but don't you think that some fish might like a bicycle?
Who is your favorite dead actor?
