Introduction	I have been working in and analyzing the consumer sector for the last seven years, with a strong eye for emerging trends and an emphasis on retail. My previous consumer sector experience includes working at Nordstrom and Johnston & Murphy as department managers; RetailData and Reynolds Food in analyst positions; and as the Primary Research Analyst at Treetop Research analyzing consumer retail stocks ranging from fashion apparel to electronics and video gaming. While with Treetop Research I was tasked with writing on publicly traded retail companies (i.e. ATVI, Nintendo, BBY, WMT, ERTS, GME, etc), creating mid-level employee networks and performing extensive channel checks. My main area of focus over the last few years however has been the intersection of video games and the markets, following industry trends such as digital distribution, the explosion of casual gaming, cloud computing companies like Gaikai and OnLive, and emerging game markets in Southeast Asia.
