Introduction	I am an oceanographer working at a disconnected-from-civilization island for fifteen years now. This was my dream job (You have to be careful about what you dream because it may become true), but I have to confess that, in one time or another, I have had to deal with some nasty boredom. All this real life experience has made me a boredom expert, not the kind who knows how to avoid boredom, but the kind who has learned to face it, defeat it and make it work for you. And I would like to share all I have learned with you.
