Introduction	I am a CHERUBS Florida State Representative. My Cherub, Dakota, was born on Christmas Day, 12-25-2008, more than 7 weeks early, with Right-sided Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia. After birth she was flown by plane to UF-Shands hospital where she was treated by Dr. Kays. Dakota was on ECMO for her 2nd to 5th day of life. She came home on oxygen on her 2nd month birthday and by her 5th month birthday she was completely oxygen free. She is my miracle and my beautiful Christmas gift. I am a proud member of CHERUBS, an invaluable place for information, support, raising awareness, and meeting other parents who went through the CDH journey.
