| Introduction | I believe in beauty, passion and the mysterious. I can be honest to a fault, but can hold onto secrets. Despite the hermit lifestyle I often impose upon myself, I see and experience things more intensely than many others. It took years to realize that is a gift and not a curse. There are times that I may appear as a sad lonely child, but I can be one of the strongest people you will ever know. I have peace at times, but there is always an undercurrent of unrest - it is my nature. I am happiest when I am with kindred spirits - especially the ones whose souls have spanned the centuries. I have the ability to look at others and offer them acceptance for all that they are, it is a beautiful thing about me - but I cannot do this same thing for myself. My children are the best and most beautiful things I have ever created’ they ensure that I have perhaps done some good in this world. I hope to embody within them the virtues that, although I may not carry within myself, I greatly admire in others. I have let so much of the world pass me by, let friends disappear, always waiting for something but never knowing what something truly is. It’s time to spread my wings. |
