Introduction	I like to spend my time making things,with variable degrees of success it must be said,either by sewing,knitting or crochet.I have been reduced to a state of mental anguish,not to mention poverty, by having to restore my house which dates to 1580 and I share this with my two dogs,three cats,sometimes two children,my dress form called Myrna and a ghost called Richard.I am also a fledgling fan of Takarazuka and aspiring acolyte of The Atherton Project.
Interests	Sewing, Lace Making, costume history, vintage stuff and antiques, reading, gardening, quilting, crochet, ruffles and frilly things in general, family history, dog walking, log poaching.
Favorite Movies	The Big Sleep, The Maltese Falcon, Key Largo, Stagecoach, A Night at the Opera, The Thin Man films, Young Frankenstein, Roberta, Follow the Fleet, Gosford Park, anything with Clint Eastwood in, Swingtime, Dark Star, The Room, Kamikaze Girls, anything by the Marx Brothers.
Favorite Music	Classical, Choral, Glen Miller, Aqua 5, Zunko, Miles Davis, Edith Piaf, The Cult, anything jazzy.
Favorite Books	Little White Horse, Miss Mapp books, anything with pictures of nice dresses, detective novels, "Couture Sewing Techniques" by Claire B.Shaeffer, P.G Wodehouse.
